Effects of computer animation instructional package on students’ achievement in practical biology

چکیده
This study examined the effects of computer animation instructional package on secondary school students’ achievement in practical biology Ilorin, Nigeria. The adopted a pre-test, post-test, control group, non-randomised and nonequivalent quasi-experimental design, with 2x2x3 factorial design. Two intact classes from two schools were purposively sampled. instruments used Biology Practical Achievement Test (BPAT) for data gathering Computer Animation Instructional Package (CAIP) as treatment instrument. reliability coefficient BPAT was determined using Pearson Product Moment Correlation found to be 0.91. research questions hypotheses formulated study. tested t-test statistics at significance level 0.05. concluded that CAIP significantly improved students' biology. researchers recommend teachers should employ packages teach aspects photosynthesis among other topics.
